Grupo de Ações Táticas Especiais (特殊戦術部隊, Tokushu Senjutsu Butai?, lit. Special Tactical Actions Group), mostly known by its acronym GATE, is a special forces unit of the Military Police.
Plot[]
During Hellsing's investigation in Rio de Janeiro, the GATE was deployed to eliminate both Alucard and Seras Victoria having been told that they are terrorists and were given shoot-on-sight authorization under the control of Millennium agent Tubalcain Alhambra. The GATE team enters Alucard's room and shreds him with gunfire. Alucard however, simply regenerates and slaughters the unit, with one of them shooting himself in the head rather than face a painful death by Alucard's hand. Upon exiting his room, Alucard is attacked by the remaining GATE members, as he proceeds to sadistically and brutally massacre them, he then killed the last GATE members by impaling them on flagpoles. Their superiors were killed by Pip Bernadotte.
