Seras then tries to put on the scope, however, Fargason noted that she won't be needing that; as she is a vampire, therefore, she won't be needing the scope.

Then, the unknown woman slowly walks towards Kim's direction, however, after being distracted by her boyfriend; Kim goes to take a look at the woman, however, she disappeared. Until, the woman turns out to be right below her, and grabs her legs; and Kim soon found herself struggling to stop the woman, who turns out to be a ghoul from biting her.

Plot[]

During training and back at the base, everyone except for Seras stood in a line and said "In the name of God, Impure Souls of the Living Dead shall be Banished into Eternal Damnation, Amen." Fargason soon enough, notices this and calls out for Seras. Trying to sympathize with Seras' situation of being treated like she was a guest, instead of their own member, and said that he notices that she was being treated like that in D-11 too, which, Seras did not took lightly. Fargason soon states that she won't be treating her like a guest, which, Seras cuts him off, and begs for Fargason to not treat her as someone special, even if they're in a mission. After saying that Seras was maybe hard to deal with, which confused Seras.

However, just before Fargason could explain what he meant, Hellsing's butler, Walter C. Dornez, interferes and tells Seras that he will provide Seras for her daily needs. And Fargason left the scene, leaving Seras with Walter's care. Leading Seras into the organisation's manor's basement, within the stairs, they introduce eachother. He states that Sir Integra had ordered him to take care of her, and when Seras asked if she was hard to deal with, Walter claims that she's not that hard to deal with, but things like Seras not being able to use silver tableware, that's the main concern. However, awkwardly, Seras stated that she never even had used a silverware before, and Walter just stares. Walter then recommends Seras to not go out during daytime. Walter then shows Seras her room, however, just as she states how wonderful it is; she tries out the bed, which, she claims that she had dreamed about sleeping on a bed like this, she accidentally pressed a button, and the bed's top starts going lower and lower, confusing Seras. Walter explains that it's something to help her sleep during the day, and soon enough, she realized that it was a coffin.

Bored out of her mind, she thinks about the events of the past, and talks about how she can't sleep during the night. She soon gets up and goes outside her room, to the manor's main entrance, and spots two unknown man, who spots her and bows. Seras then bows back, and then, Sir Integra unexpectedly tells Seras to not just go carelessly sucking every human's blood, which angered Seras, who claims that she's nothing like that. Integra then left, and goes to her office.

Alucard and integra

Integra lights a cigar in her office as Alucard appears through the wall. Integra, in a slightly sardonic voice, comments on Alucard's unusual hobby of turning his female friends into vampires. Alucard seems annoyed at her wording but merely says that the policewoman chose to become a vampire of her own will. Integra tells him coldly to train Seras properly. She then turns her attention to the latest mission, which involves a series of murders. Several vampires, heading north, have been killing families, draining their blood, and writing bloody messages against God on the walls. Alucard says that worthless vampires are spreading. Integra replies that comments like that aren't part of his duty. He smiles and passes through the wall. Integra stares at where he left, then breaks off her cigar.

As Seras returns back to her office, she saw what appears to be a medical blood in a jar, which tempted her to drink it; however, she pushes it, and shatters everything, including the jar and the ice. And then, here, two vampire teenagers kills an entire family and starts to make out inside of the scene, and does some very inappropriate stuff, to which, the boy named Leif, starts to go carelessly shooting the corpses while the female one, named Jessice, gives him a fellatio.

Gareth and Seras

Gareth, giving Seras her first ever rifle.

Back at the Hellsing manor, Seras goes to the training ground, and grabs a rifle, to which, Gareth Henderson interrupts and gives Seras a very huge rifle. She thinks that she can't hold that kind of stuff, which the others soon laughs. The other too recommends Seras to try it out, and soon enough, Seras obliges and grabs the gun, and then surprisingly; despite it being massive and heavy, it's not that heavy at all for her and instead, it's so light that she could hold it one handed. After Gareth tells Seras that it weighs 33 pounds without the magazine, and Seras was so surprised. She test the gun out, and then; the result was a little messy. Gareth soon comes to help Seras on where to shoot, and points his finger at her heart. And just before he could tell her anything, they were interrupted and was commanded to prepare his unit for action. As she runs to the ACP wielding the giant rifle, she saw Fargason and Integra talking.

The two vampire teenagers starts to go on a killing spree even with a bike, and multiple police officers were sent to deal with them; however, almost all of them died in action while doing so. At the training ground, Integra, with precise aiming; shoots the target with her pistol and hits the center of the cardboard multiple times, and Walter informs her that Gareth's squad had closed down on Route 17, and tells her that the "Bonnie and Clyde" problem should be done within the next 120 minutes. Integra insults the two vampires, and says that vampires with no awareness is something that had never existed before. Walter agrees, and Integra asks Walter if he wishes to go out in action again, to which, Walter states that he doesn't, not right now; nothing pleases him more than serving her.

Releasing Level 5.

Back at the scene and the motorway road, nearing the tunnel, Seras prepares to shoot, and lets Alucard take action first. Alucard eventually spots the psychopathic duo, and releases level 5 and begins to create an illusion. Jessica, who was scared when they were suddenly in a red, and seemingly, an endless tunnel filled with Ghouls, wants to get out of there, but Leif insists and then, sees a man in a red suit walking. Leif, visibly annoyed intends to runs him over as he was trying to get away from the London Police and suddenly, the man pulls out his gun, shoots and misses on purpose to make them crash. The man, turned out to be Alucard, begins insulting them and questions their motivations as he teleports behind Leif whenever he tries to look at him. Leif, having enough of this, aims his gun at his back, and shoots Alucard, who plays dead. After Leif grins, Alucard regenerates and taunts Leif while pulling out his Casull, he eliminates Leif quickly but Jessica runs away in fear, Alucard tells Seras to not miss.

While still struggling, she eventually pulls the trigger and shot Jessica; to which, very happy for her; Fargason proudly tells Seras: "Welcome to the Hellsing Organisation", giving Seras a confidence boost. They soon return back to the manor, and as Seras goes to take a walk; Alucard suddenly appears, and tells her that she did a nice job, calling her "Police Girl". After hearing him calling her that, she goes back at Alucard; and tells him that she has a name. However, ignoring her, Alucard tells Seras to drink blood, specifically; the medical blood. If she refuses to drink it, her body will become weak, and commands Seras to follow his orders; before disappearing, leaving Seras on her own.

Differences from the Manga[]

Just like the first episode, even it is manga canon, many changes were made; and to prolong the episode to hit the 23 minutes mark, many newly added scenes were mostly added for Seras' character, giving her more development. Her outfit during the training was also changed, supporting a black t-shirt, a trainer and a pair of gloves in the manga; she wore a blue Hellsing uniform in the anime. In addition, the final battle took place in a different location, while it took place in the house in the manga; the fight took place in a motorway in the anime. Comedy bits were removed, and Seras was taken seriously. The prologue of the manga was also changed, in the manga; it took place in a crime scene; in the anime, it's Seras on her first ever mission, showing her struggles. Integra talking to police officers was also omitted, and Integra instead stays in the manor. Walter doesn't appear until much later in the manga. And in addition to the final battle taking place in a different location, the final battle also plays out in a different way; while Alucard massacres Leif inside the house, Alucard instead now, mocks the two teenagers after creating an illusion; which appears to be an endless tunnel. The manner of death Leif had was also different in the anime; while Leif was shot multiple times in the manga, the anime had Alucard shoot Leif only once in the heart, killing him in an instant.

While some lines that are from the manga were said, the way they were said was also quite different. Alucard's "no conviction" quote from the manga plays out differently, and in addition; Alucard said it more calmer. Fargason and Gareth was a completely new addition to the series, the characters never appeared in the manga at all.
